I'd rather not start off by making excuses, but I did want to mention that I had a completely different mission when I started - this was supposed to be a flash animation. There was art made; pokeballs, backgrounds, lots of assorted poses for the six pokemon participating. (!!) It was supposed to be pretty awesome. Then a little procrastinating and a lot of family trips and a wake later, and my program fizzed out on me. I started to try to fuss with Flash, but it was too close to deadline to learn as much as a novice like me needed to. Instead at the eleventh hour I worked my fingers raw to create a black and white rendered comic so that the event wouldn't be a complete wash on my behalf. I logged into my account in the wee morning hours and saw that there had been an extension.
I wish that I could have pulled together something more in the last hours but I'm not a very fast artist normally. If I was one of those people who can color twelve pages in a day I'd be a lot better off. For the first round it took me about 2-3 days to finish each page.
I want to say no matter what happens that I have enjoyed working and trying to compete in the Sixfold League. My competitor this round has a super entry; you should check it out!
